I can't believe how most of you guys are picking Lacy to win via KO after he got his ass handed to him by a "slapper" in his last fight. After watching him(Green) on FNF's, he has some pretty damn good boxing and ring skills along with height, speed, and power. If I was Lacy's promoter, I'd put him in against a lower-tiered opponent before stepping him up again against a up-and-coming prospect like Allen Green.

Green is the perfect opportunity for Lacy at this point

Originally posted by GreatestIAMGreen reminds me a little of myself in the ring with his ability his a natural athlete and uses it in the ring, as evident in his last fight he knows how to readjust and fights that much better when his been touched and need to redeem himself! If this guy learns to move his head a little bit more and not to drop his hands after throwing or when shifting them up and down to 93% of the time throw the jab or the hook, he could be a menace! His only 2-7 pounds from MW on any given night and if he does chose to fight and lose to Lacy he has many more options
You're giving Green way too much credit, he doesn't at all compare to you.
Lacy TKO10.

as far as im concerned, jeff lacy is the most overrated guy in boxing today. only complete ******s give this guy credit for beating two absolutely washed up opponents in reid and pemberton. i mean ****, manfredo jr beat pemberton up as bad as lacy did.
lacy can be outboxed by guys with slightly better than average skills. guys like allan green. lacy has not fought anybody that hits as hard as green does either. what makes you so sure he can handle allens power after getting his ass brutally handled by a guy other people (not i) call a slapper?
green by TKO9, jeff lacy is a hype job waiting to fall apart

Originally posted by adrsan84as the fight was going on i thought about this fight before it was mentioned and its interesting. I for one was impressed with Green's power but i think that his ****iness inside the ring and his lack of physical size would be his downfall against lacy. I think lacy could move him around on the inside and catch him when he moves around with his hands at his side, but he has good power too and could also catch Lacy.
this would be a very exciting fight that i would LOVE to see in the near future, how do u see it turning out.
