Womens boxing is of such a low standard that i wouldn’t be surprised if Nunes could go into womens boxing and whoop them. She actually knows how to throw a punch correctly, which is more than can be said for 95% of women boxers.

Shields competes in a weight class with 26 active boxers in the whole world, that is ridiculous.

Women’s boxing is a few half decent boxers, a few tough lesbians and the rest are just women that started taking boxercise classes about 4 years ago.

Yeah but we all know the Mayweather V MacGregor fight wouldn't have happened if it wasn't 100% boxing rules. Usually the boxer brings the money and decides everything. The fight isn't made for the fan's entertainment - it's just to make both fighters as much money as possible

When people stop buying into these mismatches, then we might get fairer fights

Yeah Nunes looks like a pretty tidy boxer with good timing/power, doesn't swing as crazy like a lot of MMA fighters. But isn't she like a couple of divisions smaller than Shields?

Anyway, imagine being in a weight class with only 26 fighters like Shields is. Any women that has a decent basic technique would probably be top 3 in the division instantly

You could probably go pull a women out of your local BoxFit class that hasn’t thought about being a pro but is decent in the class and she would probably be top 10 in the division.
