Hearn is helping GBP negotiate after GBP called Hearn out

Chris Mannix is reporting that Hearn is helping GBP and Main Events negotiate Canelo-Kovalev.

This comes a week (?) after De La Hoya publicly told Hearn to screw off on social media, to mind his own business and to stay out of Canelo’s affairs.

De La Hoya seems like a typical crow eating Canelo fan to me.

I’m sorry but I don’t see Oscar as a guy that is a good negotiator when it comes to big fights. May be part of why Schaefer broke away from him in the first place.

Idk why people keep saying Hearn is helping Oscar.

Sounds like they are all helping each other. Oscar wants the fight. Kovalev wants a deal. Eddie needs fighters with a name. If Eddie gives Kovalev a deal then Oscar gets the fight & Eddie gets a new guy under his banner. Sounds like a win win mutually beneficial situation to me.

De La Hoya is the Donald Trump of boxing..... Making idiot moves all day while his staff goes around him trying to keep the ship afloat.

IDK how much Eric Gomez gets paid, but it's not enough.

Why isn't he a good negotiator when it comes to promoting big fights?? He's promoted and negotiated every Canelo fight since Richard left and he also negotiated Canelo's $365 million dollar contract with DAZN, ..
So he obviously must know what he's doing wouldn't you agree??
On a side note look where Oscar is at and look where Richard is at??
Seems to me Richard don't know shet about negotiating or promoting a fight without Oscar by his side,... 😆😁

When you put it that way I guess he is a good negotiator. He is worth about 300 million and much of that comes from his boxing business.

Eric Gomez is the one who really runs things at Golden Boy not Oscar. Oscar says a lot of dumb **** and shoots his mouth off when he shouldn't. Gomez is a real professional and Oscar is lucky to have him in charge at GBP.
