    Haye goes the distance for the first time...

    ... did anyone see the David Haye fight tonight? He purposely went for 12 rounds, pacing himself for a tactical but low-octane distance victory.

    I admired his ability to stick to the plan even when the crowd were booing and walking out, though his version of a 12-round fight was really no different from Audley Harrison's (against Julius Francis) and doesn't really tell us much about his stamina as he wasn't being pressed.

    Haye's now No.1 WBC mandatory, but I don't see any questions being answered by this one.

    He should move up and fight Wlad.
