Marquez vs. Pac was risky fight for HBO, ratings wise. The first fight againts Marquez'was more suitable for Boxing after dark because the ratings were not good enough. Many fans were just getting to know Pacquiao, even Filipinos. Pacquiao was fresh of beating Barrera and Nobody really knew Marquez and the amount of Money Marquez was asking, I think it was 2 million, was way beyond the cost of the fight. Yes, boxing is a business and profit is a good thing for everyone involved. He was offered the same amount as Pacquiao 750K which was alot of money for the type of income this fight could generate. Instead Marquez opted for 30k againt Chris John, why? Who knows. Morales fight with Pacquiao generated alooooot of money. More so than fights that had PPV numbers that were less with fighters that made more than either Pacquiao or Morales. 3 million is well within range for a fight of this magnitude. I don't know if 3 mil requires a smaller purse on Morales part but it is within the negotiable parameters. Marquez' demand, on the other hand, was just as idiotic as you or your posts. You see why your argument sucks. Well if you don't know now you know. It is so hard to argue you points because it is just really uneducated.

True, though both Morales and Marquez and Barrera are taller then Pacquiao. And im biased towards fighers like Morales, Marquez and Barrera because i grew up following their careers. Which was always easy to follow fighters like Marquez and Barrera cause they were like Super Stars of the Great Western Forum who got a lot of television exposure. Which is why its ridiculas to take attacks on Mexican cause their Mexican and because im talking about them. Anybody from the West Coast who was a rabbid boxing fan on the West Coast can easily remember growing up with these fighters in Marquez and Barrera.
