NSB's replies to Foreman's comments about Joshua exposes more hypocrisy.

Anthony Joshua gets bullied and embarrassed by Andy Ruiz in Ruiz's home country : "Joshua should IMMEDIATELY rematch to prove it was a fluke!"

Manny Pacquiao gets bullied and embarrassed by Jeff Horn in Horn's home country : "meh, Manny doesn't need to rematch him".

    Dumb thread.
Joshua got repeatedly dropped, beat up and then KOed(or quit) against Ruiz.
Manny beat Horn to a pulp, making him look like Quazimodo, and then got robbed by a bad decision from the judges. Manny's cuts were due to several headbutts from Horn and his dirty fighting.

      thats because Ruiz TKO'd AJ

Jeff Horn won by decision on a fight that he actually lost.

"At the end of the day", you're dealing with a situation where the favored guy LOST to the one that shouldn't have won, in the non-favored guy's home country.

The argument against Horn circled around home cooking (despite none of the officials being Australian). Most everyone agrees that Manny shouldn't have lost. Where we disagree is WHY he shouldn't have lost. He shouldn't have lost because he took the guy lightly, and as Paulie likes to say, it's legal if the ref allows it. So play by those rules.

Yet tons of people thought the ref in the Joshua/Ruiz fight stopped it too soon because Joshua responded "yes".

SO in one, Manny didn't show up. In the other, Joshua didn't show up. In BOTH fights, an immediate rematch would make sense to prove the loss was a fluke - REGARDLESS of why they lost.

            Pretty thin dude... pretty thin.

Manny was in the sunset of his career when he lost to Horn. Joshua was supposed to be just coming into his prime, with a string of career-defining fights fights on the horizon.

A more accurate comparison would be "Meh, Manny doesnt need to rematch Erik Morales." Which no one said.

Manny was fresh off dominant wins against a prime Jessie Vargas and a prime Tim Bradley - who was Top 3 easy at the time. Don't want to hear that excuse.

nice try to compare that disastrous fight the ref was in.... that was obvious controversial since the guy wasn't getting hit....

you CAN NOT say the same for AJ

so just stop you are making yourself look real foolish and you are losing alot of credibility here with that nonsense

Bro, you're the one that said "there is no such thing as a fluke when you get ko'd". I gave you an example of one no matter how extreme.

Ultimately, two significant favorites walked into foreign territory. Two significant favorites got upset by fighters who shouldn't have even lasted the distance. Two significant favorites didn't show up. That's what happened.

All I'm saying is, in BOTH situations an immediate rematch IS/WAS warranted for the same reason - to prove it was a fluke. Doesn't matter if it was KO/TKO/decision/draw.

Same complaint about Wilder/Fury. Should have also been an IMMEDIATE rematch for Wilder to prove he wasn't exposed and Fury to prove he dropped the ball.

ANY situation where a significant favorite doesn't get the W deserves an immediate rematch. Period.
