    Larry donald In another ERA

I'm just wondering how you guys think Donald would have done in another Era, like the 80's. I think he is a pretty good fighter, who could have been Champion in the 80's. I have seen him fight a few times and looked over his record, he has only 4 losses to GREAT comp, whos current records are 154-6 with 125 KO's. They had a combined 2 losses when he faced them. In his loss with Valuev he should have won. His other losses where to BOWE,VK, and Kirk Johnson.

How can u say that, No other era has had as many Giants in the Div as now. it started in the 90's guys like Bowe/Jorge Luis Gonzalas/McCline/LL/Wlad/VK/Valuev. i like the older fighters too, but to think they could get past all of these guys is crazy. Back in the 70's there was only 1 big guy, George and he proved to be too big and stong. and these guys are bigger than him. Larry him self is bigger than most past fighters and he has good skill with a solid chin.

I agree , He's not going to take out prime Tyson, Holmes or the Holyfields but maybe he can get past the James Bonecrusher Smiths and Mike Weavers that were around at the time . I would call it a very short title rain by beating one of the alphabet title holders and that's about it .

todays era is weaker then that era. tyson was blowing everyone away back then. donald could be a champ today if he could get a rematch with valuev,,Id even give him a descent chance against serge

Well it's fairly clear he could be champion in this era considering he all but schooled Valuev.
