Canelo and the Reynosos seem like good people. It's positive for the sport to have them be among the high profile faces of boxing.

Team Canelo always stay humble, no matter the money.

Canelo himself also has recuse dogs and horses and donated more than anyone in the world to the Mexican earthquake that happened a few years ago. He was also among the search party but he never brags about humbleness.

It's really not humble at all to announce to the world that you're doing this. Humble would be to mail him an anonymous check. Nevermind the fact that 250k pesos equals just over $13k dollars. Didn't know you could even still purchase a new car for that much could they spare it? But I guess it's better than nothing...

Exactly my point. Canelo never told anyone that he donated more than any one. Its was Mexico announced that Canelo had donated more than anyone in the world. Canelo never even mentioned it.

And what Reynoso is doing now is raising awareness to the situation and hoping other people will donate as well.

trainers in general arent rich, and 13k is a good donation to help a recovery, not like he is trying to build a hospital, im sure orcutas family will apreciatte this, if more trainers and boxers could donate at least $100 it will be awesome... eddy didnt have to donate anything, but he did gave up his car...
most people wont donate their flat screen tvs to help a friend in need...
