People laugh at me because i think Juan Juan Carlos Gomez is capable of becoming champ, yet these two clowns are fighting for a world title.

lol you want Barrett to leave boxing? That's ridiculous.

I can't count on one hand the number of heavyweights that I'd consider even worth watching.

Let me guess......You want them both to leave...so that Juan Carlos Gomez will be the champ?

Monte Barrett T.K.O. Juan Carlos Gomez 7.

He beat Beck convincingly. He LOST to Ruiz however, convincingly in my opinion, and probably lost to Larry Donald.

I think Barret will lose, he'll run out of gas from Valuev's HEAVY punches (no snap) and from his sheer size. I will also be going for Barret, however.

I've been a Barrett fan since the Mesi fight, so it would be awesome to see him dethrone Valuev. He's got a good workrate, so we'll see. Meanwhile, Valuev could be developing some useful skills as he fights these guys in preparation for a bigger fight against another champ.

Barret is a good fighter. But there are some problems. He's 6'3, but he's small. He fights under 220. He has little power, a questionable chin and maybe even questionable stamina. He'll outbox Valuev. Valuev is nothing special at all. He's slow, his punches have no snap, and for a guy his size he doesnt do a great job of keeping opponents on the outside. But he's BIG. Between those heavy punches, that massive body pushing and leaning on Barret, Barret will get worn out and stopped late.

And if Barret wins, I think the other Champs should be able to rip him apart, accept for Rahman cause they're best friends. Im sure King would do everything possible to keep him away from Wladimir or Lyhovich. But in any event, I hope Barret wins just to get Valuev the **** out of the picture.
