For decades and decades, almost all the big name fighters end up fighting in America. I mean look at the biggest UK fighters from the 90s on tell me which one didn't come over and fight majority of their last fights in America? LIS, until UK promoters start signing foreign fighters and having them fight primarily in the UK, then it will be just par for course. More of the same.
Boxing is prize fighting and boxers go where the money is.

Say with the hype/money in the British boxing scene a couple of years ago, DAZN decided to set up shop in the UK and not the US, all those boxers would be fighting in the UK right now.

It’s all about where the money is.

      Just like we Americanized boxing.

Kinda like how we Americanized those 13 colonies

Loool. You mean you made a sport that’s only played/watched in the US bigger? You must be having a laugh, mate.

Rugby is played on 5 continents and American football can only dream of having the global audience/notoriety the rugby World Cup enjoys.

I can’t take you seriously when your national anthem used to be a pub song in London, lol. Even your national anthem isn’t original, that’s a song yobs used to sing at the pub in London after downing a few pints of beer with their beer guts out, lol.

I guess for the trinket. Doesn't Porter have one?

I don't follow belts and I think they are the worst thing in boxing, but casuals recognize them and that's all they know.

Spence-Porter isn't my first choice for Spence. One thing I do know, tho: It won't be boring while it lasts. Spence won't let it be.

Where the money is yet it was pretty much just domestic fighters in the UK? Nah, sorry the UK never had boxing on lock. Again, the HW division? Yes, but majority of the best fighters still fought in America. Only US promoters sign foreign fighters for the most. Until that changes no other country will having boxing on "lock" over America.

I am an American but I know my boxing history and the sport started in England. The English and Irish brought boxing to America and America became very good at boxing. I just root for boxers I like based on how they fight and what they are like as a person. I don't care where they live and don't favor American boxers over others. I like lots of English boxers. My favorite is Callum Smith. I think he is the best at 168 unless Bivol could beat him since Bivol says he can go to 168. If an American fights and Englishman I just root for the boxer I like the most and it might be the Englishman.

Eastern European countries are mostly 3rd world countries and it’s understandable why they would move to the US for greener pastures. 2 years ago, all the top boxers were dreaming of fighting in Wembley, until DAZN dropped the bag in the US.
DAZN isn’t really a British Company you clown. It’s bankrolled by a RUSSIAN Billionaire. Take the Russian guy out and it’ll just be another mediocre British Company.

Ok, I'm laughing hard at the thought of a bunch of drunk, shirtless blokes singing Francis Scott Key like it's Sweet Caroline.

                But rugby...

Dunn had just finished putting the monstrous former rugby leaguer and another international player through a basic agility drill. Normally the exercise would have taken two minutes, but because of the students' lack of football experience, it dragged on for a half-hour under the Florida sun.

After about a minute of standing there looking at one another, they both tried to drink the Gatorade through their helmet, and literally splashed it all over themselves,"

The physical shock was awesome. The first four weeks he was dying, just dying every day. And it was like, 'Nope, nope, that was the warm-up

You could tell that he's never been in an intensive environment where your full-time job is to work out.

Jordan Mailata went from knowing "peanuts" about football to an Eagles draft pick after an intense transformation at IMG Academy.

                He got hurt doe

You are a very rude insulting guy who started this thread to pick a fight with Americans. Other than insulting and pissing off Americans I don't know what you started this thread for or what you hope to accomplish. I am just a boxing fan and don't care about soccer, football or rugby. I thought this was a boxing board for boxing fans.

Since Porter has a trinket, he isn’t mid-tier. He’s an American champion and Kell Brook battered him in his backyard in America.

Spence fought a damaged/shot Brook with one eye.
