When it did become popular and acceptable in boxing to use "I don't like that guy" as an excuse not to fight someone? Throughout boxing history, and in every other walk of life, not liking someone is something that causes people to WANT to fight that person, not AVOID fighting them.

So this is either a bull**** excuse to duck, or it's ridiculous. This truly is the diva, scaredycat era of boxing.

Honestly, the money DAZN is paying Canelo looks huge as a lumpsum. However, Canelo can make that money in less fights on PPV. GGG on the other hand has never been a big draw like that and at age 37, why pay him that kind of money and give him shares?

GGG would of been much more comfortable with PBC. Since PBC expects and demands nothing from their fighters and PBC fighters are more than content fighting D level competition for years at a time. Yes, GGG would of fit right in.
