Comments Thread For: Joe Joyce is Still Stunned That Andy Ruiz Upset Anthony Joshua

Olympic silver medal winner Joe Joyce was shocked when he saw Andy Ruiz shock Anthony Joshua for the WBO, IBO, WBA, IBF world titles. Last month at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ruiz dropped Joshua four times before the contest was waved off in the seventh round.

Joyce is making the same amateur mistake as Abel Sanchez his former trainer, thinking boxers' performances at high altitude in Big Bear translates to boxers' performances at normal altitude in actual fights. It may be what has ruined GGG's career, and it wouldn't surprise me if this was the real reason Ruiz couldn't go more than 2 rounds vs Charles Martin in sparring at Big Bear.

AJ and his smug promoter Eddie Hearn had it coming to them. Yes AJ has natural ability but he was gifted so many things to help him get to the top including the gold medal at the olympics which started the whole AJ phenomenon in the UK. His first world title fight against Charles Martin was another gift from Eddie Hearn who paid Charles Martin a crazy amount of money for it. Andy Ruiz is better than AJ. It's a simple as that.

GGG isnt ruined. I think Banks is a cool trainer, and plus now he will be exposed to the many secrets of the Kronk. This beauty interviewing banks and, and I guess he got an ole lady at home who didn't wanna see all that. So he told her about these two birds and he said, "These two different types of birds, don't wanna hang out with each other., They both birds now, but don't get anything outta hanging around the other"

Ha damn I knew Joyce was about as smart as a bag of rocks but it took a month to finally realize that Ruiz actually beat Joshua.

Joyce is another easy to hit british heavyweight. As soon as he steps up he will get knocked out! BUM!

Joyce has a win over Hrgovic who was clowning wilder in sparring around that year of 2013 foolish boy. lol

See the irony here ,Wilder fans cant call top fighters bums bc Wilder only has one legit win worth noting in 40 fights...lol

The other fact is Joyce would be a far bigger threat then Breazeale who had Wilder stumbling back a bit with a grazed shot and that was the only one he landed before telling Wilder to hit him , so its only a matter of time before a real power shot tags him and well...………...

Nah. He chose to stand in the pocket with Usyk after getting nailed, my friend. Joyce is gonna be around for a long time.
