We are living in the microwavable age, everyone wants everything right now 'This was before his rematch with Chad Dawson, in one of the greatest round table media interviews I have ever seen'.

British sports fans enjoy the ride, even the casual have a ability to follow boxers or anything athlete through thick and thin sometimes. 'American's love winners, they almost elevate their sports stars as if they where Demi-Gods' British people tend not to do this, as much.

So when Dave Allen comes along and market's himself like he has, he knows what he is doing 'But that is who he is'. People for the most part where very envious of David Haye for example, where just waiting for his down fall.

It seems to be more so the media in america. But boxing is a past time in the UK, and heavily ingrained into the culture 'You cannot just remove that from history, or genetic memory'. That is why it will be very hard for any combat sport to ever reach the heights of boxing, once upon a time it was the biggest sport in the world 'And the heavyweight title, alongside a Olympic Gold medal' where the most prestigious achievements/titles any single man could achieve 'Long before sports became consumerised to the max'

But as I stated earlier boxing is the last working class sport so in america, there still should be a market for fighters like that. 'It is all about building a rapport with people'.
Haye may have fallen in the ring, but he is well respected after his career and operates a business, that’s the dream. Same with Hatton. So did they really fall? :-) I have a great deal of respect for most of what Hopkins always says, I mean it comes from experience usually and isn’t bs. Followed him since 98 or 99. Always like to see him use the ropes to add power to his counter cross, Hopkins would be a nightmare to fight .

David Haye was the last boxer I had a real rapport, for me? He was smart because he realized soon after winning his heavyweight titles that 'casual fans' where not his real fans. I feel like a lot of boxers believe that casual fans care about them, but in reality they don't 'Haye went from hero to villain and did not really care' Infact he purposely manufactured that transition.

David Haye definitely did not fall, Ricky Hatton DID fall but rebuilt himself 'Hatton cares too much about what his so called fans would think of him etc'.

I THINK this card IS on DAZN n I'm really looking forward to each of the heavyweight fights.

As for this fight, I like Allen by TKO in the 7th. Price didn't look good against Kash, n he will likely have stamina problems. I love pulling for fighters who have early losses n continue to show improvement as Allen has done, I'm a big Allen fan. We've seen the best of price, I don't think we've seen the best of Allen yet.
