Part of doing stuff like this isn't just getting your feet dirty. Its getting the message out that there are people in bad situations off of your rep.

People love to walk around like there aren't people suffering all around them. Giving a reminder to people who've forgotten this sorta sh^t is worth bringing a camera when famous people or people with influence are involved & get more people steered towards making an effort to do what they can to help.

Cool gesture & respect to Devin for trying to do his part.

Haney is one of my favorites and I have high hopes he will leave clean, work hard, and rise to the top. He clearly exudes warmth and being very much a good guy.

His management had more of say in this than he did.

Haney sounds like he was genuinely affected by the stories of the kids he met.

If it inspires him to always give back then this is nothing but a good thing.

                It is common sense.

Or maybe you think he organized it himself went down there phoned up the camera crew and press all by himself.

Sure believe that if you will, but that is not the way the world works and you are being very naive if you think that is what happened.

Whenever someone don't have proof of their claim they say something like "common sense".

But to the point & as I already stated this isn't about increasing his standing in boxing. Half of mfers are like you anyway & wanna see poor people die in the street probably or something "common sense-ish" like that I'd imagine.

You bring cameras (or hell the groups you are helping brings camera) cuz Devin is a influencer & him doing something like this gets the word out & encourages other people to make moves like Devin is making.

Well you know it as well as I do.
                    It is a publicity stunt.
Sure it is a good gesture to those people, but does very little to address the root issues or even create sustained funding for these projects.

Why would I want to see poor people die in the streets?

They are sportsmen that are invested in charity work and really do want to make the world a better place.

This does not convince Haney is one of them.

Well obviously Devin isn't solving homelessness & poverty by serving them lunch one day. But he's an influencer that has impact beyond what he himself does.

Why would I want to see poor people die in the streets?
Idk why anyone would, but it seems like a solid number of people here would rather see homeless/poor people dead in the street (to teach other homeless/poor people a listen I guess idfk) than for them to get help &/or basic necessities. If you aren't one of them fair play.

I don't need much convincing the average person of common decency wants to see homeless/poverty end or be lowered to its lowest possible number.
