Some lower level of opponent will make a superior guy look ''mediocre''. It happens to almost every champ. They don't engage. They sit back hoping to catch the champ with a miracle shot. Would love to hear the final bell and put up more of a fight during the post fight interview.

If Thurman beats Pac, Pac is old ?
If Pac wins, Thurman is trash ?

... "if it’s the Pacquiao that fought Broner, I think Keith might edge him and might out-point him, because Keith will get on his bicycle if need be and just move around, and just pot-shot him. So, I think Keith will edge it out."

I think Spence is right... Thurman is far better than Broner... He moves better, he holds a wide selection of punches, he's far more intelligent in the ring, he he fights to win "round-by-round"... therefore, "the Pacquiao that fought Broner" will not be enough to win vs Keith...

        1) If Thurman beats Pac, Pac is old ?
        2) If Pac wins, Thurman is trash ?
        1) Pac is old anyway...
        2) If Pac wins (which I strongly doubt), Keith is, practically, in limbo...

Time catches up to the best of them. Pac is not that far gone, imho. He can beat up has beens for another 10 years but these young lions ?

I'm not a big Pac fan but I don't want to see him get hurt.

First, I thought that this will be a "pass the torch" fight... But I guess that Pac truly still believes he still holds "greatness' in him and he thinks he could be on top of the division... I'm not a big Pac fan as well... I also think that Keith holds some style features borrowed from Floyd... therefore I expect that Thurman will move a lot and quite easily pot-shot Pac...

Preach! Also, Manny was tested on the tight spot and never back pedaled. Keith knows this, and will not try to stand toe to toe as what he claim he would do. Look how big Horn was and he almost got stopped. not saying Horn is better but the point is, KT has to impose his physicality and bully Pac to make a statement but it'll be a bad gameplan as Pac can circle him around and Keith know this and the only way for him to outpoint Pac is if he can counter him while fighting backwards.

Pacquiao has more than enough left to pull this off IMO. As Spence said, it's really gonna come down to which version of Pacquiao shows up. Thurman fades if you can force him to fight, and that's where Pacquiao's experience in the late round trenches could make things interesting.

Thurman claims to be looking to ko Pac. So pot shooting may not be his plan (until Pac catches him).

I see Pac having to be beaten out of the sport for him to retire. He probably won't just walk away.
