This was supposed to be Roman's road to riches. Signing with Hearn was supposed to get him better pay days. I guess that's not the way Hearn sees it.

Hearn signed Roman thinking he was the Low hanging fruit of the 122 lbs division.
What has this Murodjon guy done to deserve a title shot ?

Jokes on Hearn when Danny wrecks the Russian .

The only one of the recent top east euros to get a fight vs another champion in their primes in recent memory was Loma, and Gvozdyk by drawn out mandate vs Stevenson. Kovalev vs BHop too but BHop was so old that it only helped him economically not so much his legacy. Not saying MA is on the level of GGG, Kovalev, Bivol, etc, Gvozdyk, in their primes, but if the recent pattern is any indication, Roman's team will duck just like many others did.

It's ruining boxing. I like Roman but if he vacates, fans should boycott his fights. Why not just take the L and come back vs other easier titlists? I know you dont make as much money that way, at least until you beat another titlist, but what about MA? He doesnt make as much money if you vacate, and he has to wait another 5 years to get a name in the ring with him now that he has a belt and no one will be mandated to fight him. Every "smart business move" duck these guys do comes at the expense of another boxer's business. It's a way for less talented boxers to make more money at the expense of more talented boxers. It would be like Kyle Kuzma making more money on the Lakers than Lebron because "it's smart business." In reality, Kuzma should make good money, but because Lebron is better, he should make more. That's how it's supposed to work. There is only so much money to go around, so obviously, it has to be split up between the fighters. This "smart business move" BS is just a way to split it more towards worse boxers than better ones, how is that fair?
