    A couple things happened:
Pacquiao fans are betting on Pacquiao.

The other thing that happened is a lot of people see this as a 50-50 fight. So I think some bettors saw Pacquiao as a good value underdog and bet on him.

I think that probably flipped the odds.

Nothing to do with that. Pacquiao is a global star coming off a big win over Broner, Thurman is a quasi-well known boxer in America. One would expect Pac fans to pour money in and cause the line to move.

Thurman looked like trash in his last fight and has only fought once in 2.5 years. He's getting peppered all night to a decision loss or late stoppage if Manny shows up as half the fighter that he was in his prime.

                The bookies might not.
                The heavy bettors do .
The amount of bet determines the money odds.
The bookies determine the opening betting odds then it goes from there.
Las Vegas tries to even out the money bet so they win either way.
