problem is AJ and Hearn were desperate for a US debut and created a bidding war against themselves that foolishly drove up their own price to secure a opponent for AJ. This isn't even a PPV fight. Canelo is on a flat fee, Kovalev should be grateful that Canelo is offering what he is for a dangerous fight, he could choose an easier opponent and keep more money. Kovalev isn't in a position to demand anything.
