Hes negotiationing with himself & couldn't avoid a purse bid somehow lol. Thats a L right there.

But if WOB wants to make this fight on their own turf they can now.

Roman aint going to Uzbekistan for $100k. Doubt the fights happening. One of the DAZN promoters now has control of the promotion of the fight. Next in line should be Brandon Figueroa, they can now say to PBC he can have the fight but his ass is going to Uzbekistan. Or they get out of the way and next up is DDLH, Sep 14th Canelo undercard. Its all there on the flipboard at WBA HQ

Nah, I'm not saying theres beef. Maybe this belongs in the conspiracy thread, lol. But I'm saying the 3 of them Eddie, Oscar and WoB have got together and come up with something that keeps everyone happy.

Maybe Roman's had 2 mandatories put on him WBA and IBF, so hes had to drop a belt, or the risk/reward aint there for a Akhmadaliev fight. So he'll do his IBF mandatory on the Mexico card, that Rafael has said hes on.

WoB bid this low amount, to have control of the promotion. Just like what happened with Soro/Castano, Soro's side won the bid, dropped the belt, and the WBA allowed Soro's team to make a deal with another guy in the rankings Kurbanov on the same date. So they have said Sep 14th would be a date that theyd put on the fight, Golden Boys Vegas date. They'll go down the rankings and what do you know theres DDLH who Golden Boy want a title fight for.

WoB are happy they've got Akhmadaliev a slot on a high profile card and the title shot they want. GBP are happy they've got a chief support for the card and DDLH a title shot.

Then maybe Hearn gets Roman/Vargas unification to put on at the tail end of the year. A much bigger fight for Roman.
