Comments Thread For: Ruiz-Joshua II Venue Choice Down To MSG Or Principality Stadium

Eddie Hearn couldn't help but chuckle when hearing suggestions from others-including Oscar de la Hoya-that a planned rematch between Andy Ruiz and Anthony Joshua was suddenly in jeopardy. The claims couldn't be further from the truth, as the heavyweight sequel is now down to two final hosting destinations.

Joshua lost his belts in USA so he needs to win it back in USA.
        MSG should be the venue.

Do it at the Barclays because MSG just became trash after free agency.

I have a feeling it'll be in the UK and it'll be Showtime. I don't think DAZN has interest in picking this up again

What could possibly make you think DAZN won't want to pick up the rematch?

Of course Hearn and co. would want it in Cardiff, that's where they screwed Carlos Takam and Joseph Parker. I wont be surprised if Eddie Hearn gets Phil Edwards or better yet Giuseppe Quartarone as the ref.
