Comments Thread For: Haye Hopes Joshua-Ruiz Rematch is Not Being Done For PR

Former two division champion David Haye is hoping that Anthony Joshua and his handlers are taking the Andy Ruiz rematch for the right reasons. Last month at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ruiz stopped Joshua in seven rounds to capture the IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO heavyweight titles. Joshua was down four times in the contest.

Anthony "quitter" Johnson AKA "The Black David Price" might as well get one final pay day in.

This rematch is all about PR, Anthony Joshua did not care about the belts ; Joshua was willing to vacate the IBF in the past instead of facing a Kubrat Pulev -- I also remember him threatening to vacate the WBA before being forced to face Luis 'King-Kong' Ortiz.

Its all about the money and fame, Joshua and Eddie's ego cant handle being fourth place.

Why would they do the rematch for P.R.? What does Puerto Rico have to do with it?

AJ doesn't want the rematch, Eddie Hearn is forcing this rematch in hopes of preserving his cash cow.
