What fights or big money cards has he really put on this year to blow his budget?

Coppinger said that they were looking at Thanksgiving weekend to make a LHW unification bout, but not sure if that is still the plan or not. They need to get going as they have everyone under one stable. Some damn good fights to be made at LHW.

I'm just looking at the signs. Says he cant provide Crawford with a good 2nd fight of the year, Loma fighting in the UK, Ramirez fighting on DAZN, Kovalev in Russia. Still has to pay out for another ****ty Fury tuneup.

Maybe that $90mil was a bit of a fib

Gvozdyk must be invisible because after he destroyed Stevenson, Beterbeiv and Bivol started talking about Kovalev, Browne, and anyone but Gvozdyk.

I mean Ramirez also had no other options and is getting paid well.

Crawford is going to want 6M or so a fight now just like Spence wasn't willing to take a big pay cut after making around 10M vs Garcia.

Are the international cards ESPN+ been picking up that expensive? Because I'm just trying to think, what exactly have the used their budget on this year? Hardly any big time fight on any of the ESPN platforms.

I know they have to put on tons of shows per year, but you have a bunch of Valdez vs Sanchez and Pulev vs Dinu types of cards. Are those cards blowing the budget? How much is ESPN paying for those shows?

That's why I question the $90mil. The PBC budget is standing up. Hearn's struggling to give away his money. Then Arum apparently has $90mil, but all he has to show for it is Fury/Schwarz, Loma/Crolla and a Crawford PPV flop, and is now having his top guys purses getting subsidised by other promoters.

I mean hard to argue the last part of your post. What will be interesting is what happens with Crawford's next fight. Arum has already said he doesn't want to put him on PPV anymore until the Spence fight as everyone knows the Khan fight did bad numbers. But will Brook fight Crawford for less than 5M? And if that is the case, does Arum send that fight to the UK as well where it takes place on Sky Box Office? If he fights Mean Machine, should be an easy ESPN+ fight where you pay Crawford 4-5M while giving Mean Machine like 500k-1M. Brook though? He's not settling for that type of purse.

Can't disagree with that - be a damn shame if Arum doesn't make the most of it now he's managed to gather most of the top LHW talent under one banner. All I'm saying is that we're used to waiting a lot longer than this for ish to materialise.

It is disappointing there ain't even been any news of talks or anything though.

A couple weeks back I told somebody I had faith Arum would make the tournament after the Yarde fight should Kovalev win. I have no idea what's going on with that fight now but it's time to get the other guys moving towards unification
