If Jermall Charlo is not a world champion, then neither is Demetrius Andrade! Can't have it both ways Eddie!

I don't think Whyte will complain about a vacant WBC belt if Wilder does get upgraded to Franchise champ. This is the same guy that talks about that 'silver championship' trinket like it matters. I hope the WBC do make Whyte the mando to Wilder though.

Now that i’ve finished reading wbc franchise = wba super and the wbc champ= wba regular champ... i get it, wbc has been pushing for a way to unify every division and this is their idea. I hated it upon announcement but this may be the only way. Their WBC king has the flexibility to go after any title and when the time is right “unify” with the WBC regular/full... originally they were looking for a way to get other champs in their rankings but I believe one organization wasnt going for it.

Who the fugh is gonna want to go up their rankings when theirs a great possibility the champ or designated franchise holder can just say no
So franchise fighter will lay his own groundwork , meaning he’ll choose who to fight and when
            Don’t make no fughin sense
Can’t believe everything gets scrutinized but this chit is still going on in boxing like it’s normal
            Fughin sad
Interesting, I strongly believe the intentions of the franchise tag is just the flexibility to become undisputed, but to your point i dont remember reading that explicit language... this thing only works if at some point they force the franchise to face their regular... id have to re-read the initial post and search up. Great point

The WBC was always the worst of the sanctioning organizations. Now that Jose is dead his obese son is just plying the trade that he learned from Papa.

This madness that they have created is worse than the WBA and that's saying a lot.

This is an obvious set up by the WBC. they knew Whyte had them cornered for a shot at Wilder and so they invented this 'franchise' champion to keep Wilder safe from him and Hearn was planning to take legal action so the WBC have pulled a clever one. Seems like the WBC uses them for all the sanctioning fees then the new belt conveniently came along when the mandatory should have come instead.

Agree, If an offer from Wilder ever arrived, whyte would run away from that offer, as fast as he ran from the AJ offers.

Whyte only yells and screams about the fights he knows he wont get. Hes a fraud.

The WBC is doing this for Canelo.
They want to protect canelo having to fight dangerous mandatory challenges.
But they can’t make an exemption for him alone.
It will look too obvious that they are bias. So here comes this excuse. Wilder is just collateral damage he isn’t pulling in enough money to make the WBC move
