Average boxing purse for B class fighters before Mayweather- Pac era

Man boxing is big business right now for boxers. We might be in a Golden age of boxing in terms of boxers Salary. We're B class back in the day (early 2000s, 90s) paid as well as todays fighters? You get guys like Khan, Broner, Rios, Danny who are paid in the millions every fight even though they aren't stars..

Broner isn't a star????? He one of the most known fighters in the sport. He may not be a great boxer but he's more known than a lot of fighters who are way better than him.

Khan's name has value. That's why Canelo picked him for a PPV and Crawford. That's also why he's getting paid $6.5 mil to fight Dib in Saudi Arabia.

I would argue that Swift Garcia is also a star since he's like the heir apparent to Miguel Cotto. He is the island's star
