All that is true but doesn't equate to taking a career hit. Can he not get top fights at 135 or 140? Seems like his problem is he hasn't made up his mind which weight class to pursue.

Loma is comign to 140, oh yeah - i'll fight himn there. Give us few fights we go down to 135 for them big fights"

      wake the f up

I guess that's how greatness taste
In my opinion he is being indecisive right now because he is chasing checks and not titles or legacy fights.

chasing money, thats a good thing as well. but what happened to the legacy? why folks be saying he lost to the great one, he was trying etc, when in reality he didn't Dare to try and win a single round. raising his hand aint trying. let's just give him some time and see where he ends up.

loud mouth Lopez, I prefer him fighting Loma. he is trying to set it, in some way. not running away

The way I see it is 147 is too big, 135 is too hard to make, and going by interviews, he is hoping for 140 and then seeing if he can drop to 135 but at his age I dont see him making 135 so if it is 140, those waters are filled with sharks. 140 is one of the most talent filled divisions. If 140 was easy pickings, even Teofilmo would have gone there already.

Mike can still do a good run at the lower weights. But their is not question that his career took a massive hit with the loss. The only way out of it is for him to start making his way down and fight Loma.
I dislike Mikey now because of his own nonsense. I think even more than Amir Khan hes also becoming Adrian Broner. I say that as Adrian in the ring, not outside of it. Hes a good fighter that won some titles in divisions higher than they should be in and probably arent even the best in their actual division.

I think Mikey should be fighting at 135. Adrian Broner should be fighting at 140.

But those two dudes chased the money and created a fake legacy fueled by their own egos. Delusional I tell you.

Mikey has no one to beat to bring his reputation back. He looked pathetically garbage and what kind of competition do you expect him to build himself back with? Barring this is a guy people had p4p?

No one who is anybody at 140 is available or brings the in kind of money he wants. He literally just committed career suicide imo

I like Mikey when he actually fights but since he keft TR hes been selling wolf tickets like Don King. Dude will call out everybody but fight no one. I never for a second thought he would fight Loma. I knew he would fight Spence because that was a win win situation. You lose it was expected, you win your a legend. If he fought Loma he would get exposed and judged based on true talent within same weight and he doesnt want that. No way in hell Mickey a WW

Whole Mikey's career is full of cherry-picking easy opponents and ducking the rest. In particular ducking all which are fleet-footed. The only cherry-picking fault was with Spence.

Now he has no legacy behind his career.

In truth he did lose to a top WW...how he lost was evidence that he was primarily in there for the check. Would love to see him choose 140. That division is stacked.

He is not promoted anymore with the same intensity and he can't pick and choose like he was doing before.

Like to see him drop down to 40 and fight the Wbss winner, Pacquiao or wait till Teofimo moves up and fight him then.
