Truth. Kovalev's greatest assets were his confidence and the fact that people feared him. Losing to a guy who wouldn't back down and was never scared really ***ed with him. He is still good, but you'll see he's not walking guys down with the jab and unloading. He's much more methodical and cautious now.

Did HBO commentary say Bhop was shot when gramps handed his titles to the Krusher and made him the Man.

Real boxing fans know that Kovalev doesn't like to get hit to the body. Which current P4P fighters are known for attacking the body and slowing them down?

Here's a hint, a guy named Golovkin didn't like it when Canelo went to the body...

People are creating these illustrative scenarios if in the event Canelo gets the fight, to discredit Canelo, all when catchweight title fights are nothing new in the game

There were some great Japanese fighters..in te 50’s and 60’s... beasts..... one they got domesticated (married had kids]they lost that swag step...they get methodical and fight in a more defensively predictive manner..

Having nothing to lose, vs having sumthing to lose... different ball game.... in my opinion.. shalom brother..

I never thought Yarde would be a threat to elites at 175.

Yarde and Warren are WBO. Yarde has been consistently been winning WBO trinkets to get his shot since 2017.

How would Yarde have known Kovalev would've been KO'd in 2018? Kovalev in the rematch should more grit than Eleider and put on his boxing IQ the second half.

This is Yarde: Hate him or love him, he and Warren been doing their part to get a shot at the WBO, and the kid is young, so they're willing to go to war.

            WBO European Light Heavyweight Title
            WBO Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight Title

I'd say I'd feel bad for Yarde not getting his shot.

Yarde has the body of a Cruiser...Yarde is another 175 guy massively draining.

past prime, but he still has one of the best jabs in the world and a great right hand, anyone treating him like he's shot would get outboxed or laid out

past his best but still got skills. like a few have already pointed out the fear factor has gone now and opponents being intimidated was a big factor in his fights. he terrified the division when he came to the UK and did a demolition job on cleverly, never been the same since ward tho

No, and he will likely add to his already strong resume.

Campillo, Cleverly, Hopkins, Pascal, Chilemba, Ward, Alvarez...

He’s 35 + , A Age where he’s on the slide only a handful of boxers in the history of the sport can compete at the highest level.

The Days of the Krusher are long gone and time isn’t on his side

But hey if the fight gets made with a Canelo this is his Career MO / His team has no problem putting him with the Elite Names ( Future HOFers ) of the Sport / But they are always over 35 on The Down slide and their Value is mostly in their Name not necessarily where Their Position is at in the sport at the time
Right. Fighters can be in wars coming up and make little. They can even be avoided in their prime. Being on the decline can often earn them their most lucrative fights against one of the few superstars. Being good and foreign doesn’t help u get fights against the cash cows. Lose a few times, make a comeback and you just might make more as a “name” opponent to a Star.
