  • Comments Thread For: Parker vs. Chisora Clash Could Be Next, Says Hearn

Promoter Eddie Hearn, who recently signed former world champion Joseph Parker to a three fight deal, would like him to face veteran Derek Chisora in the month of November. This past Saturday night in Providence, Parker took much longer than expected to stop one-time world title challenger Alex Leapai in a battle of Samoan fighters.

Parker looked his normal one dimensional self and couldn't put any real sustained work together .He should have had his limited opponent out there long before .Eddie Hearn will build this c+ Del Boy fight in to a PPV top of the 02 bill .

      IT'S NOT!

Is that even a relevant fight?

Dereck Chisora does not appear in as a top 10 anywhere..not in WBA, not in WBC, not in WBO, not in IBO, and not in IBF. Not even in TBRB, BoxRec or The Ring.

What's interesting in fighting a yesteryear underachiever with 9 losses against boxers like Pulev and Kabayel?

Eddie Hearn has his heavyweights in a rotation. Joshua, Whyte, Parker, Chisora, Takam. This would be the 9th fight between those five men.

I don't mind this fight at all. Their styles could gel well.

Would be a decent regular SKY fight night (if that's a realistic possiblity?). We don't get many of them of late.
