Taking everything into account I say Ali. To get a descision against him you had to win like at least 12 of the 15 rounds. So many of his fights have alot of bull**** surrounding them. Also he illegally grappled and held behind the head constantly.Comment

As for dirtiest of all time? No idea.
However, you wanted dirty, and he's a dirty one.Comment

Hopkins, actually was hurt. He seperated his shoulder.Originally posted by 4CornerMessiahHopkins Vs. Echols II was a wild fight
Echols slammed the hell outta Hopkins down and Hopkins acted as if his right arm was hurting and the very next round he was throwing it like it was brand new.

Carlos Maussa, that guy headbutted the hell out of people. Look at this he cut up both of Hatton's eyes, and Vivian Harris. That cut on Harris's eye was a butt. that guy was dirty. Tried to hit Harris in the back of the head while he was down.

I don't know about dirtiest of all time as that is sort of a subjective question, but Hopkins was really dirty. The 2nd Echols fight comes to mind as the best example. But Bernard used all the tricks in the book in a lot of his fights. He headbutted JT a few times (not sure if that was intentional) and he loves to hold and hit. I don't want this to read like an insult to Hopkins because that kind of stuff really doesn't bother me. I see boxing as a sport but more simply put its a fight (with some rules). If the ref isn't doing anything about the stuff then that is what goes for that particular fight. Each ref views certain fouls differently.Comment
