If unifying is important to Canelo, why won’t he do it?

The Golden Boy Promotions line on why Canelo won’t fight GGG again is that GGG doesn’t have a title and Canelo wants to unify over everything.

So why is Canelo looking to move to another division instead of fighting Andrade or Charlo in a unification fight? Canelo also has a title at 168 but he isn’t looking to fight Callum Smith, Caleb Plant, Billy Joe Saunders or the winner of Dirrell/Benavidez to unify that division?

That’s 7 titleholders he’s completely ignoring in his quest to unify titles.

I think he just doesn’t want to fight GGG again.

he just had a unification in his 1st and 2nd MW opponent (4th if you include the catchweights)>

GGG by comparison attempted to unify lineal and IBF in his 40th fight, and failed.

So you think he is using an excuse to unify in order to avoid fighting triple g? Oh the irony

They basically told Golovkin to get something to offer if he wants another pay day. He has nothing. He didn't say he wanted to unify over everything. Canelo has every right to tell Golovkin to go fuck himself after all the shit he's said. Now he thinks he can just demand a fight with Canelo and it will be granted? Fuck that diva.

I agree with you. Oscar and Canelo know damn well that GGG gave him two very hard rough fights and they know a third fight will be just as hard and dangerous and they don't want it. It's just that simple. Canelo holds an official win over GGG and he wants to quit while he is ahead. If GGG had defeated Andrade instead of fighting Rolls Canelo still would not have fought GGG. Andrade just won by a mile and he called out Canelo. Is Canelo going to do what he told GGG to do and fight Andrade? We should know when Canelo's next fight is announced but my guess is he won't fight a middleweight at all. With all his talk of fighting at 168 and 175 I have a feeling Canelo has trouble making 160 and will never fight there again. He still wants to be middleweight champion for as long as possible without actually fighting any middleweights. Time will tell but I don't think we will see Canelo at 160 again. Another poster suggested this and after thinking about it I think he is right. All the talk about Canelo's next fight has been about him fighting at 168 or 175. There has been zero talk about him fighting any middleweight even though GGG, Andrade and Jermall all want to fight him.

If Canelo fights one of the guys mentioned TS will claim Canelo is ducking the other 6.

Canelo is now in the position where he can't win, there'll always be someone else they can claim he's ducking because he can't fight them all at once. People did the same shit to Mayweather.

You never have forgiven GGG for crushing those English boxers Macklin, Murray and Brook. Canelo has every right to duck a third fight with the guy who beat him twice in Vegas and got robbed twice because Canelo is his highness, the royal diva. Keep on bragging Canelo up like you did AJ. Canelo has the big head now and thinks he is so good he no longer has to train hard. It showed in the Jacobs fight when he gassed out so badly in the late rounds he had to stop punching. Canelo will get his ass kicked very soon just like AJ got his ass kicked and you be will be crying again. Why don't you take that clown suit off of Wilder and put it on AJ where it belongs. Oscar wanted the 3rd GGG fight in Vegas if it happened. GGG told Canelo to go fuc himself and shove Vegas up his ass as he had every right to do. Fuc that Diva Canelo. He tells GGG to fight Andrade but he won't fight him even though Andrade earned his shot and is calling him out. Canelo is a hypocrite who won't do what he told GGG to do.
