According to comments from Canelo fans, I think canelo should just retire. I mean everyone who is a viable option to face Canelo is apparently levels below him according to them. He is so great that even other world champions, in their prime, who are undefeated and in & above his weight class are no match for the great Canelo. He is so good, that him even entertaining a fight with them is nauseating. He is so amazing that a brand new belt from a long standing boxing organization has been created specifically for him. It's a life time achievementnent title that can never go away. He should just retire as there are no longer any viable threats to his golden crown.

That would appear to be the consensus. Because his militant nationalist fans believe no one is good enough to fight him....not Charlo, not ggg, not Smith, not Booboo, no one....he really should just stop fighting and retire. Through there logic, there are no challenges for him.
Canelo is a great fighter and on top of his game but like Anthony Joshua prior to his recent loss, his fans are not the type of people you can or want to talk boxing with. Like Joshua fans, they are immensely emotional and jingoistic and exactly like Joshua fans they all come off as they are under 20 and with no real interest in boxing as a whole.

from what i have seen, most canelo fans want him to fight andrade first to become undisputed, then smith, then kovalev, then ggg and then charlo, most likely in that order.. i dont recall any being scared of any of those...
ggg fans are the one making excuses for his poor opposition, but thats another story...
