Comments Thread For: Andrade Wants Canelo in September: I Won't Turn That Down!

Demetrius Andrade knew from the moment he signed with Matchroom Boxing USA and DAZN that it was the best move he'd made in his 11-year pro career. It's now a move that could lead him directly into a superfight for his next outing. First up for the unbeaten southpaw is long overdue hometown debut as he defends his middleweight titlie versus Maciej Sulecki this Saturday at Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Given the number of upsets that have already taken place this year, Andrade knows better than to look past the fight in front of him.

He hasn't really fought anyone credible to fight canelo but he does have the belt and I think it would be a good show. No more ggg.

You can't blame Andrade for GGG being a P*ssy and choosing Vanes and Rolls over him who were NOT even top 100 MW's. And you can't blame him for Saunders trying to cheat and getting popped at the last minute.

            Andrade desreves it the most!

Unlike Charlo fighting GIMPS and Homeless ppl or GGG and his picking guys straight out of the yellow pages of the phone book or going on Angie's List looking at the best reviews for local contractors and businesses....

Glad to hear Andrade say he can be ready for September if Canelo calls him! The question is what does he do if Canelo does not call? Assuming Canelo vs. GGG III goes down in September, what else does DAZN have for him? Esquiva Falcao? Jaime Munguia? We know he doesn't want to fight his "Brother" Danny Jacobs, so I don't see a really good "Plan B." I hope Hearn is paying him well, because THUS FAR he surely has NOT brought him any better fights with Matchroom than he had with Banner Promotions!

                😂

Would like to see Canelo fight Andrade regardless though. Saul to win another belt.

Andrade is a tough fight for any MW out there . I am not sure Canelo wants to fight a fast, strong southpaw. I will tell you one fight I don’t want to happen , Canelo bs Kovalev. Kovalev is old , slow , and can’t take a body a shot . This will play into Canelo hands and he will win easy but it will be smoke and mirrors, beating a one time feared LHW who crumbled when someone actually fought back.

I have an idea. Instead of Andrade and Charlo b.itching and moaning about Canelo, why don’t they fight each other next. Or if they can’t come together, how about one of them fight Jacobs next. That would create some legitimate excitement for a Canelo clash in 2020.
