Does anyone do a better job of building careers...

    ... than Top Rank?

I feel like they turn very average fighters into borderline stars.

It seems like everyone they have goes on a run, gets a belt, gets exposure and that’s before we even know if they’re good.

Beltran is one of the latest examples. He’s not very good and with another promoter he could have been screwed. But Top Rank built his story, made him popular, got him a belt and eventually another shot at a belt.

I think I would sign with TR if I was worried that I wasn’t the best boxer.

They don't have the stable they use to but TR have by far the most knowledgeable matchmakers in boxing

I feel like they haven't been able to do that with Michael Conlan though, and people really don't care about Jose Ramirez, except in Fresno.
