Canelo fans believe and claim, without any evidence, that the WBC made up a title for Canelo Álvarez, where he no longer has to fight mandatories, to benefit his mandatory challenger.

It’s because Al Haymon didn’t want Charlo fighting Álvarez for the WBC title!

Charlo doesn’t want to fight the biggest superstar in boxing and make more money than he could make doing anything else??? Al Haymon doesn’t want his fighter to fight the biggest name in boxing?

GGG and Jermall both want to fight Canelo but he doesn't want to fight them. Canelo gets 35 million no matter who he fights so it's not about money. Canelo may be trying to drain the hell out of Kovalev with a catchweight and 2nd morning weigh in. I hope Kovalev makes him fight at the full 175 with no 2nd morning weigh in or no fight.
