I mean...it's right there in black and white man lol..btw sanctioning and allowing an exception are not necessarily the same thing...maybe that is where you are missing this one my friend

Robbie you are a funny interesting guy...I will give you that...God bless buddy..
This will be my final reply to you. If you don't understand now you never will.

IBF said they would grant an exception if Golovkin agreed in writing to fight Dev next.

    Golovkin didn't agree in writing.

The fight was not sanctioned because he didn't agree in writing to fight Dev.

He was stripped for fighting an unsanctioned fight.

Pretty simple to understand even for a biased, ****** clown like you.

Lol...Robbie...I thought you were trolling at first honestly my friend...seems like that is your MO on here which is fine...it is pretty funny sometimes.

But I am a little shocked that you honestly think you're right here man lol...like you're just kind of making stuff up here, no offense :0

This is reminding me of that time that you refused to admit it was a hype job instead of an hype job lol...just makes having serious convos with you on here not really worth it man if you can't even admit the sky is blue ya know.

Really not trying to be rude to ya...you seem like a good guy and I know you probably get a lot of satisfaction from posting on here since you are a frequent poster...I just think if you kept it a little more real...especially when it is obvious black and white stuff...you would get a little more respect on here man.

Hope you have a great day my friend :0

        The links are there.

They stripped him for fighting an unsanctioned fight, they wouldn't have been able to do that if the fight was sanctioned. Think a little you idiot.

cmon man, you know better than that. To keep the date, they had to make a fight in like 7-10 days. Derev is managed by Kevin Connely, who is notorious for taking FOREVER to make a deal. For crying out loud it took like 7 months to make GGG-Jacobs. They only had a week or 2. Connelly would take that long just to approve the ring walk music. There was no way to get GGG-Derev made within that time window.

Now all that aside, was Vanes a poor choice? Absolutely

And should they have perhaps abandoned the mission of holding that May date? Perhaps, depending on what HBO was telling them.

But to imply that GGG-Derev could have been made on short notice is simply a fantasy

as for the back and forth between robbie and boxing 1013, you are both partially correct about the GGG-IBF issue.

The IBF did NOT sanction the Vanes bout, but they did not initially strip GGG because he had requested a hearing, which was held on May 22 (several weeks AFTER the Vanes fight). At that May 22 hearing, the IBF gave GGG until June 6th to agree in writing to face Derev next. If he had done that, he would not have been stripped for the unsanctioned contest. However, he did not comply with that order, and thus was stripped on June 6th.

So, although he was technically stripped for an unsanctioned contest, he would NOT have been stripped if between May 22 and June 6 he had signed the letter and fought Derev next. But he didnt, he rematched Canelo instead.

                More hypocrisy from Canelo fans:

After all the crying about GGG ducking Derevyanchenko, GGG fights him and wins the IBF title Canelo vacated to avoid fighting Derevyanchenko.

But somehow Canelo isn’t blamed for giving up his IBF belt like GGG was.

Canelo fans then say GGG should have fought Andrade instead because Andrade is a better opponent than Derevyanchenko.

Canelo then says Andrade isn’t good enough to deserve a shot at him so all his fans who insisted GGG fight Andrade now say Andrade isn’t good.

Those same fans who say GGG needed to win a title to deserve a shot at Canelo are now completely quiet about that premise because GGG has a belt.

                Did I miss anything?

                  Here's a timeline.....

GGG fans thinks Nelo should have fought GGG sooner...

29 y/o GGG would make Nelo 21. Wasn't going to happen.

So what does 29 y/o GGG do ????

Stays put, taking on all ''challenges''
