This should have been obvious when the WBC president tried to make GGG fight Charlo despite Canelo holding the belt. Now, they make up a bull**** designation to protect Canelo from the asswhooping Charlo would have given him. Hopefully, G steps up to do what Canelo has never done: fight a great fighter in their prime. Canelo's style is fighting older/shot and/or smaller fighters (and still needing PEDs and the judges to win controversially), so we all knew he'd never fight Charlo.

Edit: For the record, this is the second time Canelo has dropped the WBC belt to avoid his mandatory challenger.

If Charlo was an easy mark, if he wasn't on Canelo's level, Canelo would not willingly cede the undisputed middleweight championship of the world, or ducked the fight for 14 months.

A fight with Charlo would be a huge event because the of the physical danger Canelo would be in.

When Canelo did the same thing to GGG, people claimed he ducked the fight, there is NO DIFFERENCE here.

Your post demonstrates you didn't even read what I said. Your claiming charlo been mando for 14 mos yet still claiming hes being ducked. As I said how in the fck can he be being ducked if he brings nothing to the table from a rival promoter & has only been forced to wait while canelos been fighting unification fights his last 4 opponents.(fielding was technically a unification because Canelo was the Lineal mw.)

Charlo has barely become mandatory during the time period that Canelos been facing more worthy opponents (except fielding was rubbish but he was a smw "champ" & it was only 3 mos after ggg & actually brought more fans than charlo) & during this time period charlos been cherrypicking the most featherfisted cans he can find like willy monroe jr/brian adams & 1 legged gimps like Heiland who was retired several years with his legs buckling from the bandages being removed when he climbed in the ring.

To top it off charlos both refused to answer their phones from vada & refused to show their face for an entire week for vada to test them.

Vada tried to contact them every way imaginable & they were nowhere to be found,& yet they received no punishment besides a fine but Willy monroe jr was banned because he didn't duck the vada test & popped dirty for elevated testosterone.
