They certainly do... Japanese do too,, I call it “island dweller technology”. Crack Head hatton got flattened by Floyd..
Puerto Rican’s Filipinos, Dominican Cubans Irish, etc all got island dwellers technology.
His Olympic exploits, really helped him. His Silver was like a gold, he won a silver at 17 years of age 'He simply just appeared at the right time' 2004 Britain where still doing very poorly at Olympic level in boxing. So Amir Khan performances inspired people, just like Audley Harrison's.
The hate he has gotten due to his racial background, actually makes him more popular. And his seemingly impregnable confidence within himself, bothers people. Just like when Muhammad Ali would stated that he was pretty, some folk did not like that 'Brothers them' because they thought he should not be stating such a thing. It bothers people not even anything to do with boxing, it bothers them that a man can be beaten then just get back up without no '****s given'.
I have never ever seen a boxer recover from defeats so fast, Khan can be knocked out badly 'Usually this can push fighters into a very deep dark place, totally change their personalities' but Khan just seems to be down for a short while, then resets and always puts a positive spin on things 'It is as if he is a computer game character of street fighter'. 'After his first defeat to Prescott, the very next day? He was on the news training in his gym' I think he even had sunglasses on while punching a bag.
I would say Anthony Joshua is attempting to take his loses in the same way, but it just seemed so natural for Amir Khan.
I think in general Khan's personality and attitude has made him relevant. But his culture also has helped him in some ways.

Excellent^^^^^ thank you.
Amir >>> Joshua...
The more I learn about Amir... the more I’m respecting him...
I think Joshua will be forgotten... boxers that rely on size... meet other boxers that are not afraid or impressed.. Tyson vs Bruno..
Khan has become an unbelievable cherry picker and he still thinks he is very important at the top level. He thinks getting crushed by Crawford gets him a title shot at the Pacquiao Thurman winner. He is still rated in the top ten by some at 147. Instead of fighting another contender he was set to fight a guy nobody ever heard of who must be rated about number 3000 in the world by boxrec. I guess if you can make big bucks for such a soft touch then I can't blame him. When that fight falls through he gets a fight with 33 year old Dibs who boxrec ranks 45th at featherweight. How can anyone take Khan seriously as a world class fighter anymore? He could make about 8 million bucks for fighting Brook but he is afraid to fight him.
He is getting the SAME money to fight Billy Dibs in Saudi Arabia.
Khan will only fight Brook once ALL other money making opportunities have disappeared.
