    Good post... thanks..
I guess Amir’s ****** fans are more similar to me than I first thought... I’ll explain..

I have fanatical feelings for Bay Area teams because I was born in San Jose, and my dad was a fan.

I love the giants and the A’s
I love the 49ers and the raiders.
I love the San Jose sharks, even though I can’t ice skate nor understand the rules.
I loved the soccer team, the San Jose earthquakes, but I don’t play soccer.
Been a warriors fan since the 70s
Love Andre Ward, and other Bay Area fighters..

Thanks bro... this old me is no different than Amir’s ****** fans.

I love Japanese fighters, because I see them on tv, or at Tekken gym...

I’m an old man fan boy..laughing at me.... smiling a lot.

When Prescott mashed him,, I though, ctay chit happens, this is boxing, then he beats chino, a good win.

He was boxing beautifully vs Canelo, then... kabooom...

All I’m trying to say is....James Kirkland is begging for work, khan is a prima Donna...
You obviously made it clear this isn’t boxing related but I will oblige Prime Khan was at 140 when he fought and beat Maidana and was the best Jr WW around at the time

Bradley blatantly ducked him and I believe he would have beaten Tim Bradley at 140 imo

Khan's fame initially came from him being the only boxer to represent the entire UK in any weight division at the Olympics. It's quite a crazy situation to be in if you think about it and it was a story which was covered extensively in the national news. The birthplace of Queensbury rules boxing only had a single representative at the Olympics and that was Amir Khan. It was this intriguing story which caught the attention of the nation, hurtling Khan into national celebrity status at the young age of only 17 years old, with literally millions of people tuning into his Olympic boxing matches as they were broadcast live. Khan's religion never had any significant part to play in his fame.

I thought Amir was gonna be king khan?

I Love London, I loved working there for a few months.. but, I noticed while in east London, at a pub, that the Spurs fans and Khan’s fans seem to me, to be hooligans.

casuals have heard of him but he's not a threat to an elite fighter, that's the most in-demand type of boxer there is because he'll keep getting offers from those looking to make an easier defence. spence-khan, thurman-khan could happen

Everything you wrote, I pretty much already knew. My thread seems to be a soggy biscuit for British boxing fanatics...

Khan’s religion then had no part to play..back then.

But, does his religion get him Dubai money now?
I know the UAE is trying to get away from depending solely on oil revenues.. I know fiancé...

It’s my contention... I posit a question.. does Amir’s religion keep him relevant now?

Better yet, does British boxing, thrive off of boxers from subjugated countries who were part of the “empire”

                Pay siablo14 his reparations..

I’m really trying to ask a simple question, would Amir could Amir cash in like he’s cashing in if he was not a ******.

If Joe calzage got ktfo like Amir khan, would he have been or become a Ricky HATTON. Walking in a winter wonderland.. i.e, a crack head, drunkard post Floyd?

Thanks... appreciate your input.khan is a good draw.
I though he was fighting beautifully against Canelo.
But, I knew he was one fragile chin checking away from napping in the ring....

When. Amir was beating Canelo, I was riveted to my seat, and glued to my gigantic screen. I was thinking... he might pull it off...but... I knew..he’d get caught, and go to sleep. All his British fans, from Bolton, and other places, were gonna be sad.. then it happened kaboom.. one hitter quitter sleeping bomb..

Amir's religion has nothing to do with his relevancy in global boxing, generally speaking. He's a former world champion who still remains one of the best fighters in the division today and one of the most exciting fighters to watch, if we're being honest. Whether he was ******, Christian, ***ish or Atheist it has no bearing.

As far as the one-off Dubai fight, Badou Jack's Dubai show earlier this year may have attributed it's success partly due to Jack being a ******. Khan's ****** background could work to his advantage on this single occasion, if only marginally. The MTK Global Dubai show had a mixed undercard a few months ago but the main event was between two white Brits yet it still sold out and was a huge success.
