🙅*♂️ The WBC have withdrawn the 'pearl' belt from Amir Khan's fight on July 12th in Saudi Arabia as Neeraj Goyat was injured and replaced by Billy Dib. Khan vs Dib will now be for the WBC 'international' title, while the 'pearl' belt is "reserved for another special occasion."

The WBC is turning in to a farce. They are starting to embarrass themselves now. The integrity of the main WBC world championship belts has gone down in flames. Those belts have seen some serious history in this sport i would never deny it but its present status is one of a bit of a joke.
Why would either of those potential fights be for any belts from any organization? Will Morris Silly man be claiming some sort of sanctioning fees for the WBC international belt? Or the Pearl belt had that fight happened?Comment

This whole situation really sucks for Charlo.
He deserved a shot at Canelo. And if Canelo vacated, he deserved a shot at the legitimate belt.
Now he's just a lame duck champion...kinda like Andrade with the WBO...Comment

Wasn't the WBC advertising, One Belt Fits 1 Champion? Apparently not! They have so many belts, anyone can be a champion these days. Why doesn't the ref get his own belt at this point?Comment
