Not Canelo’s Fault for WBC “Meritocracy” in Franchise Champion

1.) Canelo is still the Lineal Champion at 160.

2.) WBC been mandating GGG vs Charlo forever

3.) Charlo been taking step aside fees as any previous WBC Champion before him

4.) WBA has its Super Champion, GGG vs Jacobs was promoted as “Unification.”

5.) Canelo seeking higher weights with conflicts in schedule at 160, therefore, WBC created an “extension” as they did for Floyd, by creating the Franchise Champion. Floyd had special privileges with the WBC/WBA for 2 years at 147/154, and Al Haymon advised Floyd how to pay the bodies to cooperate.

    And that’s all she wrote.

Corruption is corruption and I love watching fanboys squirming to make excuses for this awful prison-worthy behaviour.

Just because Floyd did it doesn't make it right. In fact with his record it only makes it worse.

There is no ONE governing body. Casuals fans like yourself don’t realize that multiple trinkets have been around for a hot minute. An “Interim Champ” or any extra belt trinket influences more sanctioning fees. How is it the WBo is very closely related to Top Rank and Warren?

There’s always been corruption. Only for gangsta sports fans. Go watch Golf boy!

So, say Charlo has a good run, in a couple of years, can he too be named "Franchise Champion?" - or he can't be named "Franchise Champion" as long as Canelo is active?

What if Canelo goes up in weight? Is he still "Franchise Champion" at 160?

What happens if when he goes up to 168 lbs, they already have a "Franchise Champion" there?

What if them two fight, will one lose the "Franchise" designation?

Will the winner be the "OMG Super Franchise Deluxe Premium Supreme Champion?"

What if Canelo decides not to attend two events yearly? Will he be stripped?

So if a boxer defeats "The Franchise champion," he's merely a contender in the division and the "The Franchise Champion" is still the "Franchise Champion"

What if the "Franchise Champion" fights the full regular WBC champion and beats him? Will the WBC just designate a new full champion by appointing him in a board room like how Charlo was? Or will the "Franchise Champion" hold two WBC belts in the same weight class?

What if you didn’t notice that this banner was already posted on Charlo’s website on June 25, which is why Keith Idec wrote that foreshadowing and cryptic article about Jermall and the WBC?

You need to be aware that Haymon has a strong tie with the WBC from the influence of Floyd. There are many politics with the WBC and PBC.

Clenelo paid WBC to duck Charlo, that's all.

GGG was Charlo’s mandatory. Nobody in boxing was even taking about Charlo since Canelo had had options for Undisputed or face Smith or Kovalev.

You do realize GGG has been difficult to deal with at DAZN. Don’t be surprised if this was DAZN and the WBC to close options for GGG since he’s #1 in the WBC and WBO.
