I do follow what you're saying. Ruiz has given no love to the US. I guarantee though, the second it benefits him to be American (and behind closed doors), he's all about being a US citizen.
Fury is just playing nice, and playing it up for the promotion game, reaching more viewers.
Ruiz Jr is still more American. It's very possible he speaks better English than Spanish.

Well if maybe America wasnt so god damn racist then the Mexican Americans would actually feel like Americans and not Mexicans and would actually be proud to fight for the stars and stripes. But then when the biggest Boxing star in America is Mexican the Mexican fansbase is the vein to tap in to over there in the US.
