Kovalev likes my response on Instagram about him fighting Canelo; what does it mean?

So Kovalev posted a picture of him being back in the gym working out and stuff. I just thought to myself that with the Canelo rumours floating around maybe I could draw out a response from him.

So I commented 'Are you fighting Canelo? Don't agree to a Catch-weight!'...and I got a response. Kovalev teasing a bit and merely leaving a like on my comment. Maybe I will get a written response later? Idk, we will wait and see.


So you guys think it's happening and that's maybe why the Yarde sh#t was cancelled? Reminds me of when Saunders pulled out the Murray fight because of a possible Golovkin/Canelo matchup

I think he appreciates you knowing about the fight he wants and is rumored to be in contention for. I think he appreciates that you don’t want to see him have to agree to a catch weight. And I think if your username on social media is DuckAdonis, he probably appreciates that as well.

Maybe. And fair play for Kov if he gots it locked in already or is just hoping for it cuz its gonna be his best payday if he gets it.

As for the Yarde fight I suspect thats dumb Russia sh^t. Not unlike the middle east Russia big fights or big name guy fights are often fights that fall through for weird non-reasons at a high rate. I suspect the non-announced reason they are getting canceled is cuz the money isn't actually there.

Intersting. I still see Kovalev hash tagging #KovalevYarde in his social media posts. Can’t wait for Kova’s actual next fight to be announced.
