Will Bud Crawford leave Top Rank?

I'll be surprised if he does. The time to leave or just test his marketvalue was when his last deal was almost up. But instead he choose to reup before his final fight so he couldn't even test his free market value which is something boxers are too often not being smart & proactive in their own career success & options by not doing.
I'd not be surprised if he reups right before his last fight with TR again. I think thats how TR prefers to do it & thats what the UFC was doing to til the UFC guys got wise to it & now those mfers cashing bigger checks all over the MMA world & the talent is spread out more than anytime since the UFC took over MMA.Comment

Crawford will make all the noises about wanting to fight the best fighters out there, Crawford's camp and supporters will talk the same talk, it'll get down to having one fight owed on the deal... and then Bob Arum, if ESPN still wants him around, will move Crawford's guaranteed purse from $3m a fight to $5m a fight, and then Crawford will shut the **** up (hoping against hope that Spence moves to 154lbs).
Don't fall for the bull****Comment

He should leave but I don't think he will. Bob is gonna dangle the Spence fight over his head and won't make that fight unless he re-signs. Just my opinion. Bob will act like he wants the Spence fight but will block it unless he's guaranteed to get his shareComment

Crawford knows very well that even if he crosses the street, the fights he wants will be difficult to make. He would be 36 years old before he landed any of them.
BoMac also has a serious hate on for Sam Watson. Something happened a while back and BoMac considers him poison.Comment

YEAH...Good Luck trying to "LEAVE" Bob Arum cleanly
Him paying Amir Khan $5 Million probably had a Kicker Contract Clause in it that extended Crawford Contract for another year or 2, this is the type of stuff that promoters do
However, Arum has invested money into Crawford and I'm sure has LOST A LOT of money especially on that Khan fight most recentlyComment
