Right I don't understand that logic either. If they call out a champion they say your resume is weak but that's the whole reason to call out a champion is to finally get that big name to boost your resume SMH Also who did Amir Khan beat to earn a Canelo fight? Khan never got the Mayweather or Pac fights and he had been knocked out by Prescott and Danny Garcia lol so I don't get it.Comment

So it's cool when GGG or Fury does it, but not Charlo?
He has the been the mandatory for awhile now, the man has earn money if the elites won't step up to the plate. Canelo does not want that fight, even though it would be a huge hit at the box office, it's by far the most dangerous fight in the division for him, a fight in which he could be stopped in the 1st half of the fight, likewise, Canelo could do the same to Charlo.
Charlo is violent, a truly elite athlete, and in his prime, best fight in the middleweight division, once Canelo cleans up, he will be pressured to make the fight, but that's next year, not this year.Comment

Oh this is HILARIOUS how you guys will flip this into "Charlo Doesn't Want To Fight" but none of you put pressure on GGG or Canelo to fight him.
PATHETIC!
Some of you want Charlo to be in a desperate position so badly so that he can RUN TO DAZN I guess but Andrade is not even getting a shot at either of them so he should go to DAZN for what exactly? When it is no Guarantee they will fight him
Charlo can play this waiting game for as long as they want him to play it, he is going to get his shot eventually and he knows that. If Not then a BIG FIGHT with Benavidez at 168 for that WBC is in the future is a Option.
Charlo will be fine, but it is FUNNY how people won't put pressure on GGG or Canelo to fight him but want to accuse HIM of being the one not wanting to fight when GGG turned down a fight with him and Canelo is dragging out that WBC MandatoryLast edited by sicko; 06-26-2019, 01:19 PM.Comment

The Curious Case Of James Kirkland And Ann Wolfe
But if history can teach him anything, it is that when he’s willing to subject himself to the terror and pain that come along with lessons from world-class trainer Ann Wolfe, Kirkland is at his best.
The facts are quite simple. Kirkland, first groomed into a fighter by Donald Billingsley (better known as “Pops”), eventually came under the tutelage of one of Pops’ other fighters — a four-division, eight-time world champion, Ann Wolfe. To say her training methods are “unorthodox” is about as accurate as saying Muhammad Ali was just a boxer.
By all accounts, including those from Wolfe and Kirkland themselves, Wolfe has pushed Kirkland to the edge of death in training camp, all with the hope of preparing him for a much easier war inside the ropes. Such methods have continually proven successful. When Kirkland pushed through multiple knockdowns of a then-prime Alfredo Angulo, Wolfe was in his corner. When Kirkland decided to take on up-and-coming undefeated prospect Glen Tapia after more than a year and a half layoff, who guided Kirkland to a brutal and wildly entertaining knockout? Wolfe.
But who was in his corner on the night a little-known Japanese middleweight named Nobuhiro Ishida knocked him out? Someone not named Ann Wolfe...
If you’ve seen what Wolfe does to her underage fighters in a training session, you start to realize the lengths to which she is willing to grind her fighters. What is she capable of doing to her professional pugs? It would be difficult to blame Kirkland for not wanting to subject himself to such punishment. It would be difficult, if it weren’t for the clear and convincing results such pain has produced. Kirkland is a balls-to-wall, heart-over-technique fighter, forged in the fires of Wolfe’s training hell. No other forge will do.
If Kirkland is going to have a glimmer of a shot against Canelo Alvarez on Cinco de Mayo weekend, in front of a crowd that could break Julio Cesar Chavez’s indoor boxing arena record, filled with fans largely supporting the Mexican star, Kirkland has to travel to hell and back in his training. His weight must be on point. His chin must be checked and re-wrought. And his heart must be tested in only the way Ann Wolfe can test it.

You really believe what some reporter wrote???
How old are you? How long you been watching boxing for??
Angulo dropped and nearly had Kirkland out of there in the first round but he gassed himself.
Angulo is nowhere near the level of fighter Canelo is but you really think if Kirkland had Ann Wolfe then he would of beaten Canelo??
You really don't know shet about boxing if you really believe that!
I don't give a flying fucc what some idiot reporter wrote!
If you believe that article then you're an idiot too! That simple,!
Canelo beats Kirkland no matter who the fucc trains him.

Yeah, he should fight Steve Rolls, Vanes Martirosyan and top it off with Kell Brook. Then call out Canelo for saturday May 2nd 2020.
He can't faces Andrade since everyone says he's a joke that's never faced any real opposition etc..
I should become a boxing lawyer lol..
Vacation time soon, that's my excuse for this post. If the speedo fits you must acquit!Comment

to avoid Korobov for the rest of his life, he got schooled. In fact i bet he will cross to the other side whenever Korobov name is even mentioned. Typical PBc/ghaymon Boxer like Stank Davis, they keep milking their fans with setting up fights and part time dishwashersLast edited by MrShakeAndBake; 06-26-2019, 02:39 PM.Comment

Seven figures? He made $500K for his last fight, LMAO! Either way, this is a sorry excuse, what fighter who claims to be the best of the division DOESN'T want title shots? He avoided Canelo at 154 and now he's doing it at 160, hoping Canelo will move to 168. He is doing the typical waiting game--wait until fighters move out of the division or age out before making their move.Comment
