not sure Canelo would have enough money to buy out gggs contract and still have enough left to pay off the usual judges. But damn, I didn't realize ggg ducked so many people. Kind of looks bad on Canelo that he spent almost 2 yrs ducking a ducker like ggg,be handed uver his only belt to avoid ggg, took PEDs to prep for a fight with ggg, and then still couldn't convincingly beat a 36 yr old hype job. That's crazy.

He didn't duck Sissy G 2 years..Oscar offered him the fight & Sissy G said no so Sissy G ducked Nelo in 2016.

not many people (other than Canelo groupies) feel that Canelo win both fights clearly... At all. But hey, if ggg is a bum fighter and overhyped, then Canelo musg be too. I mean, why can't he convincingly beat this 36 yr old scrub? He was able to dominate other low level guys like Kirkland, angulo, Liam Smith, but struggles with the old man. Odd. Golovkin III is one of the most anticipated fight in boxing. Most fans and boxing people want it.

What if Golovkin had won the 12th round of the 2nd fight and he was making these statements to avoid a 3rd fight? Imagine the hate going his way.

Just seems like the usual promoter posturing. Expecting to see more articles like this w/ Golden Boy puffing out their chests, but I think it'll inevitably get signed. DAZN signs the checks & their MO is to drive subscribers, so I think they find a way to get it across the goal line. GBP & Canelo probably just miffed Golovkin is trying to steer it away from Vegas (good luck with that). I think it's 1-0-1 in favor of Golovkin, but they were close ass fights & I'd probably make Canelo the slight favorite to win the 3rd. Hope it happens sooner rather than later--if nothing else they make for an entertaining style clash.

see that's the problem with Canelo fans, you guys try to talk him up to appear to be better than what he is. You used the word beating. A beating is what Roy Jones did to Vinny pazienza, or what Chavez did to Camacho, or what pac did to delahoya. What canelo did vs ggg was eek out a controversial split decision. You should watch those other fights I mentioned so that you could understand the difference. It may be educational for you.

are you aware that ggg hit canelo in the face significantly more than the other way around? Are you aware that of the 50 press row scorecards, only 2 scored it for Canelo? Even less thought canelo won the first fight. As far as leverage, sure a title helps, but you do know that public demand and interest for a fight Trumps all of that right? Why was mayweather vs McGregor the 2nd biggest ppv of all time despite no belts being on the line? Because of public interest. End of the day, the biggest option for Canelo when it comes to public interest is ggg. Not Andrade, not Smith, not Saunders, or anyoje else. Canelo vs ggg 3 draws more views than any of those options and it's not even close.
