Why not? Canelo has a long ass contract to fulfill. Fight a couple of cans, or take tougher fights than a 3rd fight against Golovkin.

I'd like to see Callum Smith or Saunders vs Canelo, something fresh and appetizing. Then a couple more cans again, and fight Kovalev or whoever else is the best at light heavy at that time.

Finish career with a couple of cans.

Canelo should go after the winner of the fight this weekend, and force GGG to fight a legit opponent.

Based on what Gomez is saying, it appears DAZN does not have the contractual right to force the fight, and they can't cite the amount of money they have invested in both fighters, they made their bed, that's not Canelo's problem.
We begin to see the weakness in how dazn operates.....if Canelo gets $15m for fighting the Rocky fieldings of the world, where is the incentive to take on the best?

Golden Boy & Canelo options are whatever DAZN say they are! They have been saying things to get under ggg skin!

No trilogy until ggg beats a top 5 fighter at 60 or higher...

Canelo is just looking to age ggg even more so he can get the KO. If he doesn’t fight him next ad. Gets a ko later it’s irrelevant
I say move on and move up to both fighters

Dazn doesn’t pick the opponent buddy it’s the promoter and fighter on the level of canelo.

Ggg needs to earn his shot no more freebies for that entitled cry baby.

The way you you pick fights this is ur best money fight Canelo u have to take it. If u think u won both fight the 3rd should be easy homie.

lol ppl really hate GGG quite a bit lmao but if you defended those titles 20 times then you definitely deserve a shot at them again. There’s a precedence put forward if you look at the history of boxing. So that’s a fight that needs to happen regardless of whether it’s next for both guys. Wouldn’t mind them fighting other guys especially the Andrade fight but ya. And some mindless hating mindsheep called the first two fights a borefest like wow

I didn’t say he was wrong, just predict we won’t be getting served up great contests given the contract that your correctly point out, means he’ll be carefully managed.
