Canelo just shows how corrupt boxing is. It’s a shame how he has robbed GGG of his title and prances around like he actually legitimately won something. I believe he lost both fights with GGG and has been aworded numerous wins thruout his carreer he didn’t actually deserve. He is nothing more than a benefactor of a corrupt fake system

If you think boxing is that corrupt and Canelo, the current face of boxing, is undeserving, perhaps you should ditch boxing and do something else with your time. No sense in getting all a dither about it.

Canelo should fight one of Callum Smith, Andrade, Saunders or Charlo, who has been the mandatory of the WBC for such a long time. The Jacobs fight was a bit of a stinker, and I don't think Jacobs beats any of the above mentioned fighters. At least it wasn't the farce of a bout that was Fielding. Canelo is a top fighter who is so tough. I don't think he's scared of anyone, but his promoter wants to wrap him in cotton wool a bit more.

He beat the best throughout his career. Seems like you want to see a wrestlemania where canelo fights everyone at once. What else do you want from him. obviously the Charlo fight isn't going to happen cause of pbc but damn you have him little credit. Ggg gets a free pass it seems to fight bums.

Wrong! Golden Boy and Canelo options are whatever the respective contracts say they are. Period and end of the story. Yourself excluded a lot of pinheads who post on this site are clueless about business contracts and think that the relationship between DAZN and Canelo and DAZN and Golden Boy is based on some sort of boss employee relationship akin to the relationship between Walmart supervisors and people who stock the shelves. DAZN is not the boss, they have contractual relationships with boxers and promoters. The contracts define the obligations and responsibilities of all parties.

Golden boy is full of s***. Ggg is most deserving based on the fact that he was a long time mw champion and Canelo has yet to beat him convincingly and without controversy, even at 36 yrs old. Now, if they want to move Canelo in a different direction to unify vs Andrade, or move up to get a real belt at 168 vs Smith, then that's fine, but don't play fans for suckers and say ggg isn't the most deserving when those other guys haven't even been in the ring with anyone elite yet.

Name one elite fighter ggg has fought.

When Alvarez retires will fans be talking about his win over Fielding for WBA title? or maybe his win over a faded, undersized Cotto for the MW title? How about Liam Smith for the WBO 154lb title?
I doubt it, fans will probably still be arguing about his battles with Golovkin. Alvarez knows the legacy fight for him is Golovkin III.

You can't look at that list and say with a straight face that Cheatnello always fights the best. It's a god damn shame that people really think that.

Not every fight can be against elite talent because there is a limited number of elite or top fighters in any division by definition. Along with fighting champions and top level fighters, Floyd Mayweather fought the likes of Tony Pep, Hector Arroyo, Jerry Cooper, Justin Jukuu, Larry O'Shields and scores of other non-world class fighters. So what is your point? Do the math.

GGG needs to stop acting like a damn coward and go after a title.

The guy is picking fights like retirement should have happened few years back. What is the sellable story line for the rematch? I didn’t really want to even see part two. Luckily Canelo showed what he was made of and made it more interesting.

Andrade must really have GGG shook to feel like that belt is not an option. The kid is avoiding slick fighters well like old boxing media today is avoiding slick fighters...

I agree g is out of his mind thinking he calls the shots. Should have fought andrade but too scared. I think andrade could have upset him.

But andrade isn't really a big deal himself aside from the title. He needs to stop fighting Bums and kick it into high gear. Good option for nelo instead of g though.
