As a fan of boxing, what exactly are you cheering? What exactly was "misleading"? Seems to me that bigdunny1 doesn't want anyone to think PBC is doing well so he is seeking to "lead" other posters to that belief. Why though?

Cong**** on 1.8 million on a Sunday night! However, Sunday night boxing is not cool! Some of us on the East Coast actually have to go to work in the morning! You know why the NFL is #1 in the U.S.? Because we can get our fill and call it quits by 8:00PM EST! Please take that into consideration in the future!

SNF and MNF still pull good ratings though. Not sure boxing is as strong as the NFL. I can only presume that summer Sunday night slots are a lot cheaper than summer Saturday night slots.

The real number here is 1.2M that's what the entire card avg'd. By putting 1.8M in the title and leading with that it's to misdirect from what the real numbers are.

Even if the entire card avg 1.8M (which it never came close to doing) but let's pretend it did it 1.8M avg isn't good. UFC on FOX avg for the ENTIRE card about 2.25M during their entire run on FOX. Their peaks for the main fight of the cards were doing like 3M viewers plus. These are bad ratings. It's now the WORST PBC on FOX ratings of the series beating out the Leo Santa Cruz card that did bad only 1.376M. LMAO

Here is how this card stacked up against the other Networks during it's time slot...it was dead last only CW did worst and CW is not one of the 4 major networks it always does way lower ratings.

Here is how this card stacks up against all the other PBC cards since their deal with FOX...Dead Last. Funny how there is ZERO mention in the PBC spin article from Keith Idec that this finished dead last compared to any of the other PBC on FOX cards or that it finished dead last in it's time slot for major Networks.
LMAO... So you really put this much effort into a failed attempt to spin un-spinnably GREAT NUMBERS into a supposed negative thing?

Arrogance and foolish pride does not equate intelligence. Admit it Al Haymon’s success is stepping you neck brother...
        😂😂😂😂😂😂

No doubt, SNF and MNF pull good ratings, but I can get my fill of American Football on Saturday (NCAA) and Sunday (NFL) afternoons, without SNF or MNF. I can't get boxing on Saturday and Sunday afternoons anymore. I used to get it as a kid, watching ABCs Wide World of Sports! I love PBC, but they're pushing me! Sunday nights, Thurman vs. Pacquiao PPV in July, Spence vs. Porter PPV in September, and possibly Garcia vs. Garcia PPV sometime in August? C'mon fam?

And the UFC number has an asterisk because it was after UFC already signed a contract with ESPN and FOX stopped promoting their cards because they were leaving. Over their entire UFC run on FOX they avg about 2.25-2.5M overnight ratings and all but a small handful didn't crack 2M and none ever did as low as PBC just did. UFC avg is more then DOUBLE what PBC just did. And if you just took their main events they avg over 3M viewers. The last card on UFC on Fox that aired in Dec avg 1.828M. Let's see how that card compared to PBC this weekend

And that was one of the WORST ratings ever for UFC and it still blew PBC out the water. Under 2M on network TV is bad barely getting over 1M is terrible reruns draw higher ratings then 1.2M

So PBC doing the best numbers no matter who fighting. Jermell fought a replacement on a Sunday and it outperformed every dazn and ESPN card this year

How about this article also written by Keith Idec for boxingscene

                      https://www.boxingscene.com/top-rank...-night--125012

Top Rank's ESPN Show Averaged 741,000 Viewers Saturday Night

                      By Keith Idec

Top Rank’s show Saturday night didn’t resonate with viewers the way its previous ESPN card did.

Its doubleheader featuring Gilberto Ramirez and Jerwin Ancajas in separate fights averaged 741,000 viewers, according to ratings released Tuesday by Nielsen Media Research. Top Rank’s last ESPN offering of 2017, headlined by Vasyl Lomachenko and Guillermo Rigondeaux, averaged 1.73 million viewers December 9.

Notice the title has the avg for the entire card NOT the main event avg which was obviously much larger. Then notice the first sentence in the article letting you know the ratings are DOWN even taking a shot saying the fight didn't resonate with viewers. Also nowhere in this entire article does he add the ESPN TV ratings with the ESPN Deportes TV Ratings. Now read how they reported on this fight and how this same clown azzz writer just reported on a fight by PBC. Adding FOX Deportes ratings and steaming numbers, leading with the Main fight ratings which was only 10 mins and not the entire card ratings. No mention that the Hurd fight ratings were already down the second WORST of the series or that this fight on Sunday did the absolute WORST TV ratings passing the Leo Santa Cruz fight ratings. Or the fact that Charlo's LAST fight was also on PBC on FOX and that card drew 1,971,000 while this card drew 1.2M a HUGE drop off.

This is straight up FOX News now. You have different ways of reporting the TV Ratings now created for PBC and everyone else because Boxingscene is owned by CBS the same entity that has a network deal with PBC. No conflict of interest right? LMAO
Nice to have some data analysis rather than gross numbers. Do you listen to Fistianados Podcast with Evan Rutkowski? He does a great job of explaining things like how 400K on FS1 is coup, whereas 1.2M on Fox may not truly be a success.
