I do think Rigo and Lara are fighting in the pocket now, more out of necessity than for the "crowd-pleasing" aspect! Father Time is undefeated!

I didn't mean that you were ridiculous, but those Americans who love Floyd and hate Rigo are ridiculous! You know what else is ridiculous? How do you hate Spence for fighting Mikey, but have no problem with Loma vs. Rigo @ 130?

I didn't want any of those fights... But in Mickey's case I think he wanted that fight (because he can "sell")... Rigo, instead, fought Loma (at 130) out of desperation...

(I always felt that the "Cuban school of boxing" was treated like a Cinderella in America...)

Rigondeaux should have never moved up in weight. Any fighter his size he gives fits.

dunno why he fights at 122. his in ring weights have him well within normal bantamweight range. only time 122 was stacked the other top guys wouldnt even mention his name. only donaire had the nerve.

rigo has fought like this before. dont think rigo was worried too much about ceja hitting him. if he was ceja wouldnt have touched him. i doubt hed givendonaire that kind of access.

Between the loss to Loma and the vulnerability to getting hit we saw in this last fight, maybe Leo santa cruz's daddy will finally give him permission to fight rigo.

rigo was always violent, he just had his method which was a work of art, his true boring fights where when his opponents were scared to engage. sad that so called fans complained so much and didn't embrace this master... he was ducked massively at 122-126...
