Ruiz beat both imo, but Parker was able to put distance between himself and Ruiz (basically what Parker said in the article).

Parker was/is a lot more fluid than the robotic AJ, watching that fight I saw Parker moving, then stopping to plant his feet, then moving. He fought on the back foot, then on the front foot. Even though that fight was close and could have gone either way or a draw, Parker really did give a good account of himself. I have said this from the beginning, when you have a robotic/mummy stance e.g AJ or Joe Joyce then your stance would catch up with you in the long run especially at HW.

If you watch the fight again, in actual fact A.J's footwork was pretty good up until he started getting starched. He has the ability to show good lateral movement either way.
It was the rest of his repertoire that was off.

Parker Ruiz was a razor thin decision. Parker did have a totally different game plan than Joshua, he didn’t seem to want to stay in and trade, where Joshua was starched bc he stayed in too long. Basically what he said
