A lot of fighters seem to still fight Manny pacquiao scared.

If Thurman fights him scared, I can just see Pacquiao gaining confidence and landing something big.

Thurman's engine is under par, Pacquiao even at this stage has better endurance than him. I have never been a big supporter of Pacqauiao, and I also think he is flawed technically, but his style seems to work for him.

I think Pacquaio should be outside the top 10 p4p and I don’t think a win over Thurman should put him in either.

Matthysse and Broner were showcase fights for Pacquiao. Matthysse was shot, looked awful in the fight he had before Pacquiao and is completely made for Pacquiao. That wasn’t even a real fight. Broner is not a top level fighter. He’s not top 10 IMO at welterweight and I don’t even think he would be one of the five best at 140 anymore. He’s popular, he has a name, but he was a no-risk PPV fight for Pacquiao.

Thurman has a great resume but this fight happened because he almost got knocked out by a no-hoper in his last fight. He’s going to take the fight because Pacquiao is the biggest fight he can make and his chance at stardom. Pacquiao is going to take the fight because Thurman looks to be the softest touch of the welterweight champions.

That’s why it’s a 50-50 fight. Old man vs. rusty man.

IMO, Pacquiao would need to beat Thurman and unify by beating Crawford or Spence to make it back in. I would also consider him if he beat Thurman and then Porter and another top end welterweight. He would have to be clearly be in the conversation for best welterweight before I would put him in the top 10 p4p. Even if he beats Thurman, no one thinks he’s going to beat Terence Crawford or Errol Spence. If he beats Thurman, Porter, the winner of Garcia-Garcia, then I get why people think he could beat crawford or Spence.

He should definitely shoot up to top 3, cause who in this "marination" era got a Thruman win

          Welterweights not fighting each other.

A Thurman on his record should even put him at Top 5.

Yeah he's definitely back in the top 10 with a win over Thurman.

let me see, Crawford's best wins are Horn and Khan, Spence's best wins are a broken down Brook and small Mikey. Even if you take away Pacman's legendary career, a victory over Thurman is far better than Crawford and Spence's best wins...

                  This.

A win over an undefeated Thurman is better than anyone crawford has ever beaten

                      What's your thoughts?

Please no Floyd vs Manny debate here lol. I know most Manny or Floyd's thread gets there...
PFP is just opinion so if you think he belongs then put him there. Age should have nothing to do with it. It's how good you are for your weight class and you don't get any bonus points for being old.
